From La Belinière you can walk to several vineyards where you have the opportunity to taste the famous Fronsac wines. The beautiful Château La Rivière is only a stone’s throw away.
This is also a region of picturesque villages and fortified cities. Libourne with its large market several times a week is a fine example of such a French bastide.
Bordeaux is a nice place to discover. You can enjoy walking along the river, shopping or eating at an outdoor café in the historical city centre. There are many museums and the now famous Cité du Vin is certainly worth a visit.
Le Bassin d’Arcachon is an hour drive away and you will find there immaculate white beaches, the famous Dune du Pyla you can climb, small fishing harbours, the picturesque peninsula called Cap Ferret without forgetting the historic seaside resort Arcachon.
You can play tennis at the local tennis club in Villegouge at 3km. There are 5 tennis courts available.
